6:8 A Justice Journey
One look at the evening news reminds us that we live in a broken and a hurting world. Begin a journey that reveals God's plan for mercy and justice. In this class we will learn what the main differences are between mercy and justice, what it means to "love mercy", and how we can take first steps of actually living this thing out. You will also have a place to process where you are in the journey, wrestle with common stumbling blocks, and examine what God has to say to about all of this. Join us for this 6 week class starting September 9. WHEN: Wednesdays @ 6:45pm (begins Sept. 9) COST: $10.00

Encounter
Some of the most profound times we spend with Jesus are the simplest. You are invited to participate in a gathering to very simply read scripture, share about what you notice, and pray. No sign-ups, no homework, no attendance, no notes – just Scripture, conversation, and prayer. This is a great spiritual practice for those who have gone through Discovery and Essentials.

Identity - Winter 2010
Your true self. Your greatest worth. Alien, Ambassador, Bride, Child, Friend, Priest, Servant. The Bible clearly describes followers of Christ as all of these things. Our world has a way of twisting reality and making us think we are defined by words like smart, successful, rich, athletic, powerful, beautiful. This course will help you understand who God says you really are and how living out our true identity in Christ is foundational to being a Christ follower. Living Lives of Mercy
Living Lives of Mercy: Caring for the Forgotten, Neglected, and the Outcast ONE DAY ONLY - April 26, 2009 @ 11:00am In His earthly ministry, Christ demonstrated tremendous compassion for the outcast and the hurting. In our day, the economic downturn has increased the pressure on the most vulnerable in our society. How do we respond to the many needs around us? This class will examine issues related to living lives of mercy as frontline workers share their experiences working with vulnerable segments of society. Who Is Jesus?
You've probably noticed that we talk a lot around here about "growing in Christlikeness" which means learning to think, feel, live and love just like Jesus. Well, how's a person supposed to do that? One way is to go back to the Gospel accounts of the life of Jesus and take a look at his teaching, miracles, death and resurrection. The more you discover about Him the more you uncover about yourself! Hopefully, after immersing yourself in the life of Jesus this semester, you won't be the same ever again! Join us for an up-close and personal walk with Jesus. The class format includes homework, discussion, and teaching. Exactly who is Jesus and what can He do for you? Come and see!
