At Monte Vista Chapel, kids are very special to us! It is our goal that each child would not only feel loved and valued by us, but also know they are loved and valued by our Heavenly Father.
While children are welcome to accompany you to our Sunday Services, we also provide other options that you may find convenient and beneficial. Infants - 18 months: Our Nursery Building is located at the north east end of the campus. It is our desire to provide the highest possible quality of care and to create an atmosphere where your child may feel safe and loved. Our Nurseries are secure facilities that feature both electronic check-in and check-out of each child. They are staffed by parents and volunteers who genuinely love children. Our Nurseries are available from a few minutes prior to our first service until a few minutes after the end of our second service.
Toddlers – Elementary Children:
- 9:15am service - We offer Sunday school classes during the 9:15am service for children 18 months through 6th grade (broken down by age group). These classes take place in our North Education Building, located on the east side of the courtyard. It is our desire that through these classes our children will come to know Christ and in turn develop their relationship with Him. This is accomplished through the use of age specific curriculum, games, songs and crafts!
- 11:00am service
- KIDS UNDER CONSTRUCTION is a curriculum for our 1st through 4th graders. Kids meet upstairs in the Children’s Ministry Building for this program.
- Childcare is provided for children 18 months through kindergarten in the North Education Building
- We do not provide programming for children 5th grade and older during the 11:00am service block. They are encouraged to attend the service with their family.
Jr. High & Sr. High Students: We offer specialized Sunday school gatherings for Jr. High and Sr. High students during the 9:15am service block. These gatherings are led by our Jr. High and Sr. High Pastors and are designed to speak to relevant issues in teen’s lives. For more information on our Student Ministries, click here.
