Turlock High, California State University, Stanislaus, and Multnomah Biblical Seminary.

You favorite way to spend a day?
At home, helping things grow in the yard or doing things with the family.
Julia Child’s in your kitchen….what’s your request?
Alright, Julia, how about a nice roast, seasoned potatoes, and steamed vegetables, but sorry, you aren’t going to be able to match my wife’s apple pie for dessert.
Speaking of dinner, if you could share a meal with anyone, dead or alive… who would it be?
Jesus and his disciples, post-resurrection, as they try to understand what has happened and what is coming next.
What do you love to do here at MVC?
I love to share stories with people about how God is at work around the world. We live in an amazing time in which people are coming to Christ in unprecedented numbers in countries that had largely been closed to the gospel in the past. As we hear these stories, God receives glory for the things he is doing, and we are encouraged in our mission efforts.

Mostly contemporary Christian music. A couple of J.J. Heller CD’s, Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, and so forth.
What movie can you watch over and over and over?
Any family-friendly movie that is well acted and makes me laugh, like The Princess Bride.
Your Favorite Books?
Modern biographies that display God’s work among men, such as The Heavenly Man
What’s Your Guilty Pleasure?
It is a tie between chocolate and going out to lunch with Doreen or one of the kids.
