What to Expect

Every Sunday, join us for a morning filled with contemporary worship, dynamic teaching and great kids and youth programs. Our Sunday service (10:30am) last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

Casual attire is appropriate for all services. You are welcome to attend in jeans, shorts, or even a tie if you like. No matter what your walk of life, we want you to feel at home in Monte Vista’s friendly environment

If you have children, you can rest assured that they will be well cared for and taught biblical truths in ways that are memorable and designed just for them. For more information on our infant, toddler and elementary student programs, click here.

When you arrive at church, if you are early, feel free to enjoy the complimentary fair-trade coffee or other beverages available in our main courtyard. This is a great area to meet up with friends to chat before or after services. You will also find our information kiosk in the courtyard. This kiosk has pamphlets and brochures about current classes, groups and engagement opportunities happening around our campus. You can also locate a staff member at this kiosk between services who would love to meet you and answer your questions.

The Sunday service itself will begin with worship, ranging from upbeat, contemporary Christian music to hymns, all arranged with the hope of bringing you into a deep connection time with God. Following worship, our service will continue with the weekly message, presented by our senior pastor, Ken Van Vliet, or one of our other teaching pastors on staff.

We hope to see you soon. If you have questions, feel free to contact us at nancy@montevistachapel.org or give us a call in our office at 209.634.4935
